Chalk Education is currently recruiting for an experienced SEMH Teacher to work in Knutsford, supporting secondary-aged students with challenging behaviours.

This is a long-term temporary role, ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Role Details:

• Position: SEMH Teacher
• Location: Knutsford
• Students: Secondary age with challenging behaviours
• Pay Rate: £170 per day
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Contract: Long-term temporary
• Working Pattern: Term time only

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons tailored to SEMH needs
• Manage and support challenging behaviours in a positive and consistent manner
• Build strong relationships with students to promote engagement and progress
• Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching experience
• Experience working with SEMH and challenging behaviours
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Commitment to supporting students’ academic and emotional development
