Chalk Education is recruiting an experienced and passionate Primary SEMH Teacher to work in Stoke-on-Trent on a long-term temporary basis.

This role is ideal for a resilient and dedicated teacher who is confident working with pupils who present social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.

The Role:

• Teaching within the primary sector
• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Managing and responding positively to challenging behaviour
• Planning and delivering engaging, structured lessons
• Working collaboratively with support staff and specialists

Requirements:

• QTS, PTTLS or QTTLS (essential)
• Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
• Commitment to making a positive impact on pupils’ development
