Experienced Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (South Liverpool)

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

Chalk Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in South Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled support professional who is confident working with students across Key Stages 3 and 4 and is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide classroom-based support to students aged 11–16, helping to deliver engaging and accessible lessons.
• Work closely with teachers to support learning objectives and behaviour management.
• Offer one-to-one and small group support to pupils who may need additional guidance.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
• Use your initiative and experience to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in supporting students in a secondary school setting (essential).
• Confident managing classroom behaviour and building positive relationships with young people.
• Patient, resilient, and able to adapt to different learning styles and abilities.
• Professional, reliable, and committed to promoting a positive learning experience.
• Ideally qualified with a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
