Early Years Teacher

Location: Prescot, Liverpool L35

Start date: Feb – July 2025

Chalk Education is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher for a long-term position at a mainstream primary school in Prescot, Liverpool. This role is to cover a secondment, requiring a commitment of at least 9 months, from February to July 2025.

The ideal candidate will have experience in early years education and must be proficient in Read Write Inc Phonics, as this is essential for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan & deliver engaging lessons according to the EYFS framework
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a seamless transition for students.

Teaching Requirements:

• Qualified Primary School Teacher status.
• Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons across EYFS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Commitment to Safeguarding
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
• Eligibility to work in the UK
