Primary Teaching Assistant - Crawley
Pay Rate; £75 to £88 per day
Chalk Education are recruiting for a larger than average primary school in Crawley, West Sussex! They are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join their teams and work throughout Key Stage 1, working both on a 1:1 basis with highlighted children and within small groups.
This role has an immediate start and will run until July 2023, with the potential of being extended for the right person. This role is a full time post, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3pm.
Job Description
As a teaching assistant in this school, you’ll be working closely with the class teacher, who will help and guide you. You’ll be required to work on a 1:1 basis within Key Stage 1, supporting the class teacher, and aiding small groups of learners.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- At least 6 weeks experience of working with Children and Young People
- Experience working in an educational setting
- Good knowledge and understanding of a range of SEND
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A flexible approach and positive attitude
