Job Description

Chalk is recreating for a Primary Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream school in Flintshire. This role will involve supporting children with numeracy, literacy, and other core subjects. You will be supporting children individually and in small groups, most of the children will have additional learning needs, experience in autism and ADHD would be an advantage. Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

This role is to starts asap until July 2022 and may continue in September. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am-3:00pm

To be considered for this role you will need:

• A minimum of 3 months experience of working with children
• Experienced of supporting children with additional needs
• Behaviour Management
• Ideally experience with primary age groups

Additional requirements:

• References confirming suitability for role
• Commitment to Safeguarding
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
• Registered with EWC or willing to apply
• Eligibility to work in the UK
