Primary School Teacher (PPA Cover)

Location: West Derby, Liverpool L11

Hours: 8.30am -4pm

Start Date: Immediate

Chalk Education Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Primary School Teacher to provide regular PPA cover across all year groups and key stages at a well-established mainstream primary school in Liverpool. This is a part-time role, working across 3 days per week, offering a great opportunity for a flexible and experienced teacher to make a positive impact across the whole school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching for PPA cover across all year groups and key stages.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure a smooth transition for students during the cover periods.
• Commitment to Safeguarding
• Ensure that learning objectives are met, adapting the curriculum as necessary to suit the needs of different year groups.
• Support and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teachers regarding pupil progress and any specific needs or challenges.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience working across all year groups and key stages within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the primary school curriculum.
• Ability to quickly adapt to different year groups and teaching styles.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• A proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
