Chalk is recruiting for a Phonics Intervention Teacher who is able to deliver phonics and provide phonics interventions to improve outcomes across the school. You will be passionate about your specialist area and confident in delivering innovative curriculum. You will be able to inspire our children, building their confidence and self-esteem, to think big for themselves.

Our clients school is located in Doncaster, easily commutable from the city centre. This one-form entry primary school has a higher-than-average number of children eligible for pupil premium funding, as well as a higher-than-average proportion of pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS or another equivalent, recognised qualification
• Recent experience teaching in a Primary classroom (NQTs are welcome)
• Experience working with children with SEND would be an advantage
• A warm, nurturing and creative classroom approach

• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
• Eligibility to work in the UK
