Pastoral Support Assistant – Chichester

Pay Rate; £75 to £85 per day

Chalk Education are delighted to be supporting a large secondary school in Chichester, who would like to appoint a Pastoral Support Assistant on a full time basis.

This secondary school works hard to support the pastoral development of their pupils, and therefore your role in this school is key to aiding their pupils.  You’ll be working as part of fantastic team, working with pupils who present with Autism and some further learning requirements.

This role is offered on a full time, long term basis.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• At least 6 weeks experience of working with Children and Young People
• Experience working in an educational setting
• Good knowledge and understanding of a range of SEND
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A flexible approach and positive attitude

Additional requirements:

o References confirming suitability for role

o Commitment to Safeguarding

o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service

o Eligibility to work in the UK
