Job Description

Chalk Education is currently recruiting for a qualified French Teacher to work in a long-term position for a school in Flintshire. As a French Teacher you will be teaching classes of key stage 3 and key stage 4 students. There will also be the odd lesson in German or Spanish. You will have an opportunity to work with a dynamic team who deliver outstanding provision through engaging, challenging lessons and exciting enrichment opportunities. You need to be determined to support young people in becoming highly successful learners, have a passion for Teaching and Learning and be committed to making a difference to young people. Hours of work Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm. Pays £148.80 minimal depending on experience.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• MLF Teacher with QTS
• A minimum of 1 year’s teaching French up to KS4
• Knowledge of Spanish or German up to KS3 would be an advantage
• Experience of supporting students with additional learning needs.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work and deal with unpredictable challenges
• Creative approach to organising activities and engaging groups of children
• Be able to differentiate lessons for children with additional needs

• References confirming suitability for role
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willing to apply
• EWC registration or willing to apply
• Eligibility to work in the UK
