Chalk Education are proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in South Liverpool who are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This rewarding role will involve providing 1:1 support to a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access the curriculum and thrive in a nurturing learning environment.

The Role:

• Supporting a child on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
• Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion within the classroom
• Assisting with classroom activities and general teaching support

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Level 2 (or higher) Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Has experience working with children with SEND in a school setting
• Is patient, caring and passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
• Can work effectively as part of a team and use their initiative
