Chalk Education is delighted to be partnering with a fantastic primary school in Guildford, who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team and help create a fun, inspiring learning environment.

As an LSA, you'll be at the forefront of fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for a diverse range of students, including those with mild SEND. The role involves providing tailored support to individuals or small groups, ensuring every student has the chance to thrive academically and personally. Whether it's assisting with classroom activities, delivering one-to-one sessions, or collaborating with teachers and parents, LSAs play a vital role in empowering students to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting children and possess a clean DBS check (we can assist with obtaining one if needed). Experience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is highly valued but not essential. Relevant experience could come from various backgrounds, including similar classroom settings, tutoring, sports coaching, childcare, or even personal parenting experience.
