Chalk Education is recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Warrington, supporting Key Stage 2 pupils with complex behavioural and emotional needs.

This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The school offers a supportive and structured environment, with strong behaviour management systems and an experienced staff team.

The Role:

• Full-time teaching role, Monday to Friday
• Working with pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviours
• Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that promote progress and positive behaviour
• Collaborating with a skilled team of support staff and pastoral professionals

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification – essential
• A minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in UK schools, ideally within SEN or SEMH settings
• Full-time availability and commitment to a long-term position
• Proven classroom and behaviour management skills
• A calm, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for helping pupils with additional needs reach their potential

Salary: £160+ per day (dependent on experience)
