Are you a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children in Key Stage 1?

Chalk Education are working with welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Nottingham to appoint dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistants to help create positive and engaging learning environments for young learners.

You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ academic and personal development, providing one-to-one or small group support, assisting with phonics, reading, and early maths skills, and encouraging good behaviour for learning.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience supporting children within a KS1 classroom environment
• Be confident supporting phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy activities
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach to meet individual pupil needs
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children

Additional requirements:

• References confirming suitability for the role
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
• Eligibility to work in the UK
