Chalk are currently looking for a teaching assistant to work in the ICT department of a special needs school based in Oldham.
The school provides alternative education for learners aged from 11-16 years with complex learning difficulties. The learners have a range of difficulties including moderate to severe learning difficulties, ASD, medical and physical disabilities with associated behavioural problems.
You will be responsible for supporting learners within the ICT classroom setting. Working within small groups, throughout ks3/4 it will be vital that you are confident and have the ability to inspire young people.
This is a temporary role, due to continue until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to go permanent for the right applicant. If you have experience within special education and are looking for your next role please don’t hesitate to get in touch regarding this position.
