Position: Female PE Teacher
Pay Rate: £168.80 – £232.57 per day (Paid to scale from day 1)
Location: Wakefield
Contract Type: Full time / Part time, ASAP

Are you a dedicated Secondary School PE Teacher looking to make a real difference in a school? Chalk Education works with a school in Wakefield, who are looking for a female PE Teacher on a full time basis. The role is to start ASAP and run on a full time basis until July 2026.

In this role, you’ll plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the PE curriculum, differentiate learning to meet all pupils’ needs, and implement strategies to promote engagement, inclusion, and positive behaviour across the classroom.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have qualified teacher status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching PE in UK Secondary Schools
• Be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a resilient, patient, and adaptable approach
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
• Have experience working in UK schools

Additional requirements:
• References confirming suitability for the role
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
• Eligibility to work in the UK – No visa sponsorship available
