Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Chalk Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant SEND High School in Bootle, Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom management, learning activities, and personal care where required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting. Applicants without SEND experience will not be considered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
