Job Description

English Teacher - SEN School - Stoke

We are recruiting for an English Teacher to secondary aged students with SEMH.

The post is 5 days per week, 8.15-3.45/4pm, on a temp basis, however potentially permanent for the right candidate.

The role is to start Jan23-July23.

The ideal candidate will:-

  • Have experience/knowledge of teaching English at KS3/KS4 level
  • Ideally, experience of working with learners who have struggled to engage in education.
  • Hold QTS
  • Be flexible and able to change plans to meet the needs of the school and pupils.
  • Experience of working with students who have challenging behaviours

Additional requirements:

  • References confirming suitability for role
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service/ be willing to put one in process
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
