Classroom Assistant – Rhyl *September start*

Chalk Education has an exciting new job role for a full-time classroom assistant to support children with behaviour difficulties and additional learning needs. This is a new build school with supportive staff, located in Rhyl. As a classroom assistant you will be supporting small groups and individuals with literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum subjects. Applicants are required to have experience of working with children and knowledge of Attachment Disorders, Anxiety, ADHD or Autism. Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

Hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am-15:30pm. Pays £76 per day. The school is close to a town with local bus routes.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• A minimum of 3 months experience of working with children
• Experienced of supporting children with additional needs
• Skills in behaviour management
• Qualifications, ideally a Level 1 Teaching Assistant desirable

• References confirming suitability for role
• Commitment to Safeguarding
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willing to apply
• Registered with EWC or willing to apply
• Eligibility to work in the UK
