Behaviour Teaching Assistants – Brighton & Hove
Pay Rate; £75 to £88 per day
Chalk Education are recruiting for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated SEN school based on the outskirts of Brighton. Our client school is offering this position to someone who is keen to work with SEMH learners, and help to enrich and develop their journey within education.
Job Description
As the successful Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working with pupils who present with challenging behaviour, and have, in most cases, been excluded from mainstream education. They will have SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs). Your role will be on a full time basis, Monday to Friday from 8am to 3.30pm.
Our school offers a wide range of training and development opportunities to ensure that you are well equipped to succeed in this role.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- At least 6 weeks experience of working with Children and Young People
- Experience working in an educational setting
- Good knowledge and understanding of a range of SEND
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A flexible approach and positive attitude

o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
