Behaviour Mentor | Wigan

Pay Rate £70 - £80

Are you a dedicated Behaviour Mentor who specialises in supporting young people with Special Education Needs & Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have the experience, understanding and passion to help vulnerable students to reach their full potential?

Chalk are recruiting Behaviour Mentors for a group of special schools in Wigan. This temporary role would be ideal for a caring and committed Behaviour Mentor who have experience with SEND.

Job Description

This Behaviour Mentor role will involve supporting students on a one-to-one basis with school work in various lessons across the curriculum. You will need a flexible approach; adapting activities depending on the pupils needs.

To be considered for this role you will need:

· Experience supporting young people with SEND.

· Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

· A positive and caring attitude.

· A flexible and creative approach.

Additional requirements:

o References confirming suitability for role

o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service

o Eligibility to work in the UK
