Chalk Education is working with a primary school in Wokingham, Berkshire who need support staff helping who are looking to employ an Autism Practitioner to join their already successful team of passionate educators. The school is looking for someone that can work across primary and secondary and support children with high and low functioning Autism. The role will involve one to one support but also supporting within small groups of children depending on their ability.
To be considered:
- You will need to be an SEN specialist or have prior experience working with SEN children or adults
- You will need to live locally to Wokingham and be willing to drive or commute depending on your distance to the school.
- You will need to be committed to the role until the end of the academic year.
- DBS on the update service
- Reference that cover the last two years of your most recent career history.
· Good communication skills and an ability to work within a team and to enable liaison with a variety of external agencies
