ASD TA- Slough

Chalk Education are currently looking for a highly experienced Teaching Assistant who is able to work on a 1:1 basis with a child with severe Autism in year 1.

The schools is a supportive and progressive school and with a high register  of SEN needs across the school.   The learners may have a range of difficulties including moderate to severe learning difficulties, ASD, medical and physical disabilities with associated behavioural problems. You will be responsible for supporting this student in year 1 within a classroom setting and during their lunch time.

Must have:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (we can support with this)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• 2 professional references
• Strong behaviour management
• Experience working with children/young people with SEND
