Pay Rate £75 to £85 Per Day
Chalk Education are recruiting for an SEN school in Brighton who have a full time position available for a Behaviour Mentor/Teaching Assistant to join their teams ASAP!
Are you a skilled SEN practitioner with a passion for working with students who have additional needs and require support both pastorally and academically? Could you see yourself as being an integral part of an SEN team that deliver best practice techniques working with children and young people?
Job Description
Chalk Education are delighted to be supporting this SEN school in Brighton. Your role will be working with 11 to 16 year olds, supporting in small groups and effectively managing the behaviour of these groups. You will support them in their daily learning and offer guidance and support to learners with Social, Emotional & Mental Health difficulties.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- At least 6 weeks experience working with children and young people
- An understanding of working with vulnerable learners
- A positive attitude
- Be able to build strong relationships with both students and staff
Additional requirements:
- References confirming suitability for role
- Commitment to Safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
