Special Needs Teaching Assistant, Post 16 - Seaford
Pay Rate; £78 to £89 per day
Chalk Education are recruiting for a large Special Educational Needs Post 16 setting in Seaford, who are keen to appoint a strong teaching assistant to work with their pupils who present, predominantly, with Autism.
This specialist provision works with learners who have Autism, but also other complex needs. Your role will be to support them not only academically, but supporting their independence and life skills.
In this full time role, you’ll find yourself working amongst a strong team of empathic, dedicated practitioners, who are all striving to provide the best possible support to their pupils.
This role is offered on a full time, long term basis.
Chalk Education are recruiting for a specialist teaching assistant who is experienced working with SEN learners. Our school is located in Chichester, West Sussex and are offering this role on a full time basis starting from April 2023.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- At least 6 weeks experience of working with Children and Young People
- Experience working in an educational setting
- Good knowledge and understanding of a range of SEND
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A flexible approach and positive attitude
