Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Worthing
Pay Rate; £75 to £88 per day
Chalk Education are working together with this exceptional primary SEN school in Worthing who are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to join them on a full time basis from April 2023.
Our client school is offering this position to someone who is keen to work with SEN learners, and help to enrich and develop their journey within education.
Job Description
As the successful Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working with pupils who present with Autism and ADHD, with other needs as well. Your role will be on a full time basis, Monday to Friday from 8am to 3.30pm.
Our school offers a wide range of training and development opportunities to ensure that you are well equipped to succeed in this role.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- At least 6 weeks experience of working with Children and Young People
- Experience working in an educational setting
- Good knowledge and understanding of a range of SEND
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A flexible approach and positive attitude

o References confirming suitability for role
o Commitment to Safeguarding
o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
o Eligibility to work in the UK
