Welsh Baccalaureate Teacher – Denbighshire

Chalk is currently recruiting for a full-time qualified Welsh Baccalaureate Teacher to work in a mainstream school in Denbighshire. As a Welsh Bacc Teacher you will be delivering set lessons to students up to KS5. The ideal candidate will have a variety of strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, with the ability to make lessons fun. Candidate’s will also need to support students with additional learning needs and be able to differentiate lessons. Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

Hours of work Monday to Friday 8:30am-3:30pm, located in Prestatyn.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• PGCE or Certificate in Education
• Knowledge of WBQ to A-level
• Evidence of classroom practice
• Be able to differentiate lessons for children with additional needs
• Manage classroom behaviour

Additional requirements:

• References confirming suitability for role
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willing to apply
• EWC registration or willing to apply
• Eligibility to work in the UK
