A two-form entry primary school based in Islington, N7, requires a Special Needs teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil with Challenging Behaviour and MLD. This is a full-time role to start ASAP and continue into the next academic year.
The ideal SEN teaching assistant must be energetic and creative and be able to motivate and inspire pupils in their care. You will ideally have previous experience dealing with SEMH and Challenging behaviour and have a sound understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum. Team Teach training is highly desirable but not essential. This is an amazing position for someone who is passionate about working with students with challenging behaviour and an opportunity to be a positive role model and make a real difference.
About the role:

The ideal candidate:
• Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils
• Experience with SEMH/EBD and MLD
• Team Teach- not essential but highly desirable.
