Description
Chalk Education is recruiting an experienced SEMH Teacher to work within a Year 6 SEN provision, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This role is ideal for a resilient, committed teacher who is confident managing challenging behaviour and passionate about making a positive impact on pupils with additional needs.
Role Details
- Long-term, temporary position
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Term time only
- Daily pay rates from £160
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons to a Year 6 class within an SEN setting
- Support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
- Create a safe, nurturing, and consistent learning environment
- Work closely with support staff and SEN professionals
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with SEMH pupils
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
